December 2021’s PlayStation Plus lineup wasn’t well received by users in many countries because the PlayStation 5 offering happens to be a stripped down version of Godfall, which doesn’t come with a campaign. Godfall: Challenger Edition is the title’s endgame content, requiring PS Plus users to fork out some cash if they want the full experience.
While folks were calling out Sony for a lackluster lineup, PlayStation Japan and Asia announced that PS Plus users in the region will receive Judgment as a bonus game. Ouch!
In Japan specifically, subscribers will get The Sexy Brutale instead of Mortal Shell whereas the rest of Asia (minus India, for some reason) will get Mortal Shell and Judgment. The remaining lineup, which includes Godfall: Challenger Edition and LEGO DC Super-Villains, is the same everywhere.

Godfall: Challenger Edition includes the following content:
- Lightbringer, a battle against an all-consuming darkness that threatens to snuff out all light from the realms of Aperion. Players willing to persevere through selected banes will receive increasingly greater rewards – and face ever more challenging hordes until the blighted Heart of Darkness is banished in an epic final battle.
- Dreamstones, engage in randomized encounters by reliving the memories of Orin and gain unique rewards each time you play. The curses bestowed on the aptly named Cursed Loot tier can be lifted by completing challenges in Dreamstones.
- Ascended Tower of Trials, put your skills to the test in an ever more challenging climb to the top of the tower gaining boons and facing fierce bosses along the way in the pursuit of juicy loot drops.
Upgrading to the Deluxe Edition will net you Godfall and Fire & Darkness campaigns.
