Bloober Team and Rogue Games Join Hands to Work on an ‘Unforgettable, Incredible’ Next-Gen Game

Horror studio Bloober Team and industry veteran-led Rogue Games have announced that they’ve joined forces to work on an “original, unforgettable, kickass” next-gen game. The mystery title is billed as one of Rogue Games’ “most ambitious undertakings to date.”

We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Rogue on this incredible project,” Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno said in a press release. “We pride ourselves on making games that push the boundaries of originality and immersion, and we’re delighted to be working alongside a company that shares our vision.”

“We’ve admired Bloober’s dark and gorgeous games for years, so we knew right away they were the only team to do this crazy cool concept justice,” added Rogue Games CEO Matt Casamassina. “Today’s not the day – unforgettable, original, kickass games take time and care to make – but we can’t wait to fully announce details on this project at a later date.”

Bloober Team needs no introduction. For the uninitiated, Rogue Games is led by developers who formerly worked for Sony Interactive Entertainment, Activision, Electronic Arts, and more. The studio’s previous titles include Hexa Flip and Neon Beasts, and it’s currently working on Sony’s mobile offering, WipEout Rush.

Bloober Team recently released The Medium on the PlayStation 5 following a period of Xbox exclusivity.

It doesn’t look like we’ll hear about the mystery game anytime soon, but we’ll keep our readers posted so stay tuned for updates and information. In the meantime, let us know what you hope to see from this partnership.
