Developer Neon Giant has given PlayStation users some hope by acknowledging the demand for a PlayStation 5 version of The Ascent, and asking fans to keep an eye out.

The Ascent‘s official Twitter account jumped into a conversation between two users in which it was tagged. One of the users expressed their desire to play Kena: Bridge of Spirits on the Xbox, and the other wished for The Ascent on the PS5.

“Hello! Thanks for letting us know you’d like to see The Ascent on PS5!” Neon Giant’s social media team responded. “While we don’t have anything to announce right now, we want you to know we hear you and the team are aware of the demand for a PS5 version. Keep an eye right here on our Twitter for updates!”

The Ascent is an Xbox console exclusive published by Curve Digital. It’s an action shooter role-playing game set in a science-fiction cyberpunk world. The Ascent offers both solo and co-op play.

An official overview reads:

The Ascent will see players dive into ‘The Ascent Group’ arcology, a self-contained corporate-run metropolis, stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. Taking on the role of an indentured worker, the world starts to go haywire when The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons. Life becomes a case of survival, with rival corporations and crime syndicates looking to fill the empty space. Players will have to take up arms and hold them off. The Ascent begins here.
