Final Fantasy 14 Newfound Adventure Patch 6.11a has been released today, making changes to the battle system in PvP and Crystalline Conflict. One of the more prominent main changes, though, was the removal of automatic logouts for players who had been inactive for 30 minutes in all areas.

Final Fantasy 14

Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.11a was released today, May 24. The update was only a small one to sort out gameplay issues and bugs arising from the introduction of Newfound Adventure last month, although the most notable change suggests server congestion may finally be beginning to ease. Automatic logouts for players who had been inactive for more than 30 minutes were implemented as a result of server congestion causing long queues for players unable to enter the game. The removal of the mandatory logouts suggests progress is being made in this area, although there is likely some way to go. You can see the full patch notes for today’s update below.
