Guerrilla Games Prioritizing Horizon Forbidden West’s Visual Issues

0

Horizon Forbidden West has been lauded for its stunning world and environments but the game isn’t without its fair share of visual glitches. Since launch, players have reported numerous odd issues especially with the game’s performance mode, and it looks like Guerrilla Games has been reading all the complaints. Over on Twitter, the developer reassured players that it’s looking into all the bug reports and is treating visual issues as a matter of high priority.

When will the next Horizon Forbidden West patch release?

There’s currently no ETA for the aforementioned fixes but Guerrilla Games has said that it aims to roll out a patch as soon as possible. The studio wrote:

Thank you for sharing your various visual issues with us via our Support Form. The team are working vigilantly to resolve these issues with high priority and are aiming to get an update out as soon as possible. We understand your frustrations and appreciate your patience. We are doing our best to quickly get you back out into the wilds so you can explore all the secrets of the Forbidden West.

Horizon Forbidden West’s day-one patch has already fixed a number of issues including visual bugs, so rest assured, the game will be fine-tuned.

Opinion: Horizon Forbidden West has some glaring bugs

Zarmena writes… There’s no doubt that Horizon Forbidden West is visually stunning and I’m thoroughly enjoying my time in the Forbidden West, but I’d by lying if I said that the game’s visuals didn’t suffer from glaring issues. I’m the last person to nitpick but ran into strange pop-ins and glitches right in the beginning of the game, which was a bit jarring. I hope the patch arrives soon as I still want to spend a considerable amount of time lost in the beautiful world.

In other news, PSVR 2’s headset has been unveiled, and Final Fantasy XIV will be supported for the next ten years at least.
