Here’s When Destiny 2: Lightfall World First Race Emblem Twitch Drops Start

The Destiny 2: Lightfall World First Race will see teams of players competing to be the first to complete the brand new Root of Nightmares Raid, and those who tune in to watch the spectacle can earn Twitch Drops. The Drops will offer spectators a chance to get an exclusive emblem as long as they watch for the required amount time.

When do the Destiny 2: Lightfall Twitch Drops begin?

The World First race Twitch drops will start at 9 AM PST on Friday, March 10. Players will earn their emblem if they watch the race on the Twitch Rivals stream for at least two hours.

Those who would rather take part in the race to be the first to complete the new raid need to purchase the Lightfall expansion and put together a fireteam of six, although without the proposed matchmaking feature. Contest mode will be enabled automatically. Players will only be allowed a maximum power of 1780 so that they’re not too powerful for the encounters. The team that wins the title will need to complete all encounters, loot the final chest, and return to orbit.

The six fireteam members who earn the title of World First will get exclusive World First title belts. Anybody who completes the raid in contest mode before 9 AM PST on March 12 and claims the associated Triumph will also get an exclusive emblem.
