Here’s Why Wild Hearts Offers Three-player Co-opPS5 2 October, 20223 October, 2022Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have explained why Wild Hearts co-op is limited to a maximum of three players. The AAA hunting adventure was a surprise announcement by Koei Tecmo and publisher Electronic Arts, and is seen as a potential rival to Capcom juggernaut Monster Hunter. Although it’s out fairly soon, Wild Hearts will be skipping last-gen consoles because it needs to “maximize the performance of the current-gen platforms.”Wild Hearts co-op is limited to three players because of KarakuriIn an interview with IGN, director Takuto Edagawa said that four-player co-op would make the game too easy due to the power of Karakuri, which is ancient crafting technology that allows hunters to take on powerful beasts. According to Edagawa, three-player co-op will ensure that Wild Heart maintains a sense of tension.“Originally, we considered having four players for cooperative play,” he revealed. “However, during development, we realized that due to the power of the Karakuri, three player combat provides the best balance for maintaining a sense of tension and cooperative combat. We also took into consideration the fact that it’s easier to gather together three players.”Wild Hearts will release on February 17th for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.The post Here’s Why Wild Hearts Offers Three-player Co-op appeared first on PlayStation LifeStyle.
