Horizon Forbidden West has a new update available today on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, it was announced during the June 2022 State of Play Presentation.

That new update includes a Performance Mode, which improves visual fidelity on PS5 and PS4 Pro; the transmog feature to switch outfit looks; the ability to redistribute skill points; ultra hard difficulty; and New Game+, which allows replaying with endgame gear.

Guerrilla Games shared the full list of patch notes on Reddit, which includes new weapons, trophies, and dyes and face paints for Aloy. The patch also includes fixes for several bugs in the main and side quests.

The update was far from the only Horizon news announced during today’s State of Play. Horizon: Call of the Mountain, the Horizon series’ VR spinoff, also got a new gameplay trailer, showing new methods of traversal.
