The Marvel’s Midnight Suns Twitter account has been taken over by Deadpool for the last week or so as he petitions to be given a spot as a playable hero in the game. It seems like he’s been pipped to the post, though, as he got the task of revealing Venom as the latest of Marvel’s Midnight Suns playable heroes instead.

Venom had already been revealed as a villain under the control of main villain Lillith, but it seems like he changes sides at some point. Just five days earlier, Deadpool had also revealed that Storm will be joining the game’s roster as a playable hero too. So far, the confirmed list of playable heroes includes:

• Blade
• Captain America
• Captain Marvel
• Doctor Strange
• Ghost Rider
• Iron Man
• Magik
• Nico Minoru
• Scarlet Witch
• Spider-Man
• Storm
• Venom
• Wolverine

Marvel’s Midnight Suns will include 13 playable heroes at launch alongside The Hunter. We’re unsure whether Venom will be one of those, or whether he will be one of four heroes added into the game at a later date through the Season Pass. The Season Pass will also include over 20 premium skins for the playable heroes and more missions.
